XRC Advanced Programming - Refresher

Who Should Attend
The XRC ADVANCED Programming module is an advanced programming course on the XRC controller and to programming Motoman XRC robots. THIS COURSE IS A REFRESHER COURSE TAUGHT AT A FASTER PACE.

Course Overview
This course covers the same material as the standard XRC ADVANCED PROGRAMMING course, but this course will move at a much faster pace. The focus is more on refreshing the student's memories on topics once learned, but possibly since forgotten. Lecture time will be minimal with focus being on additional hands-on.

Course Materials
Students receive a copy of the latest revision of the XRC ADVANCED PROGRAMMING Training manual.

Topics
YMC Instructors cover topics which enable the students to perform advanced functions with the XRC Controller and SK-X Series or UP-Series robots. An overview of the primary topics covered in the course is provided below: - Advanced I/O Programming - Defining Cubic Interference Zones - Introduction to Concurrent I/O - Setting Axes Soft Limits - Application of Variable Data - Concurrent Job - Defining and Using Position Variables - Robot Calibration - Use of System Variables - Software Options such as PMT, Relative Job, Interrupt Job, External Reference Point - Naming Variables - Advanced Arithmetic Instructions - Floppy Disk Drive/PC Card Operations
