Featured Products

NEW! MPL100 "Master Palletizing" Robot
The high-performing, four-axis MPL100 robot has fast axial speeds and acceleration which reduces cycle times and increases production output. Palletizes loads up to 108”.

NEW! UP400RD Material Handling Robot
The high-speed, shelf-mounted UP400RD robot provides flexibility and superior performance in high-payload material handling applications. Its slender design enables it to work in tight spaces and service multiple processes.

NEW! MA3100 "Master Arc" Welding Robot
The MA3100 welding robot features a streamlined design that improves torch access into tight spaces.  Its extra-long arm reduces the need for tracks and makes it ideally suited for use in workcells with larger workpieces.

NEW! ArcWorld C-50 Series
These compact and affordable workcells use 22% less floorspace. Features include the high-speed MA1400 “Master Arc” welding robot, an integrated welding package, integrated tooling or one or two MH-180 headstocks, operator station and total safety environment.

Helpful Hints

Problem:
How can I make my material handling robot more efficient?

Solution:
By entering the mass and center of gravity values to your tool file, your robot can operate much more efficiently. When these values are entered correctly, the software adjusts the acceleration and deceleration curves. This saves unnecessary wear and tear on the gears with heavy loads and allows the robot to accelerate and decelerate faster with small loads.

Material handling robots (arc welding robots do not use this feature) have a utility for automatic calculations of tool weight and gravity. From your tool file, select utility, then W.GRAV.POS MEASURE. Now choose to consider or not-consider the load setting on the U arm. Press the FWD key, and the robot will move to the 0 position. Press and hold the FWD key, and the robot controller will run a macro to do the calculations. Pressing register will put the data in your tool file.
