Vincennes University Selects Motoman to Equip New Automation Lab
Vincennes University in Vincennes, Indiana, opens new CIM robotics automation lab that features eight Motoman SV3X robots.

 

Motoman Inc. is a finalist for Dayton Business Journal's Business of the Year Award in the Manufacturing category. Winners will be announced at a black-tie awards dinner December 5.

Low-Cost SP80X Palletizing Robot:
The economical SP80X robot features a slim wrist and compact, 5-axis design that satisfies most end-of-line palletizing requirements.

SP100XFNo Jacket Required:
Motoman's four-axis SP100XF robot palletizes frozen products in extremely low temperatures with no need for a protective jacket.

PX-Series Painting Robots
Motoman now offers six painting robots with Factory Mutual (FM) Class 1 Division 1 ratings that feature reaches from 800 mm to 2,900 mm (31.4" to 114.2").

These PX-series robots are ideal for painting a wide variety of products, from small parts to large car bodies and machines.

RETS Tech Robotic Training Classes Begin
The first classes in the joint venture robotic training program between Motoman and RETS Technical Center began November 25, 2002. Morning and evening sessions are offered. Fully-accredited Motoman robotic training courses are now a part of the Electronic Engineering Technology (EET) associate's degree program at RETS Tech Center, based in Centerville, Ohio.
