Welcome to the October, 2003 issue of Motoman Direct, containing news, product information, and updates from Motoman Inc.

Featured Products

EA1900 "Expert Arc" Welding Robot
Motoman's award-winning application-specific robot designs now include another welding robot. The EA1900 features a patented internal cable and patent-pending design that provides high flexibility and also streamlines the robot profile, allowing access into confined spaces. The integrated design improves cable life by reducing wear due to cable "flip" and eliminating interference, and also reduces cycle time by minimizing the motion required for torch reorientation -- for example, on circumferential welds.

HyperStart
This programming feature allows Motoman customers to save 0.5 seconds per weld. HyperStart offers double-digit cycle time savings (10%-20%) on parts requiring multiple welds in the same robot program.

ArcWorld IV Series.
New, fully integrated solutions feature high-speed positioner and two (AWIV-6200) or three (AWIV-6300) robots for HyperProductivity®.
