Versatile Coating Robot

The high-speed EPX2050 robot is available with a hollow wrist, providing versatility and superior performance in standard industrial and automotive coating applications.

The hollow wrist design is ideal for painting contoured parts such as interior/exterior surfaces. The hollow wrist is well-suited for mounting spray equipment applicators.

The EPX2050 robot is Factory Mutual (FM) approved for Class 1, Div. 1 use in hazardous environments. It features a 15 kg (33.1-lb) payload capacity, a 2,054 mm (80.9") reach, and a ±0.5 mm (±0.02") repeatability. The compact design of the highly flexible, six-axis EPX2050 robot makes it easy to mount on the floor, wall or ceiling.

Note: inside diameter of hollow wrist is 50 mm (1.97") dia.

Advanced NX100-FM Controller

The advanced NX100-FM controller features fast processing, easy-to-use INFORM III programming, and includes application-specific software for coating applications.

Two types of programming pendants are available — the standard model for use in non-hazardous painting applications and as an option, an intrinsically-safe version for use in Class 1, Div 1 conditions.

The NX100-FM coordinates operation of robot and painting devices, including the spray gun. It supports gun control instructions such as spray start/stop and painting conditions. All painting position parameters can be filed and saved.

The NX100-FM supports standard networks (such as DeviceNet, ControlNet, Profibus-DP, and Interbus-S), enabling connection to paint equipment controllers and production line controllers.
