Fast, Flexible, and Powerful

Motoman’s high-speed ES165N “Expert Spot” robot is specifically designed to deliver unmatched performance and reliability in spot welding applications. To increase cable life, enhance safety, and reduce teaching time, the servo gun cables and air and water lines are routed through the robot’s base and upper arm to the robot’s wrist. The ES165N robot’s compact, slim design allows it to reduce cycle time and reach into confined spaces, thus improving system productivity.

The ES165N features a 2,651 mm (104.4") reach. The work envelope extends behind the body, allowing tools to be placed at the back and providing easy access to weld guns for maintenance.

The ES165N’s process-specific design, together with Motoman’s patented multiple robot controller, ensures maximum productivity in spot welding application.

The standard ES165N is floor-mounted, but a shelf-mounted version (ES165RN) is available for layout flexibility.

Advanced NX100 Controller

The NX100 high-performance controller features a Windows® CE programming pendant, fast processing, easy-to-use INFORM III programming language, and robust PC architecture.

The NX100 offers unmatched multiple robot control capability (up to four robots) to minimize cost of integration and eliminate risk of robot collisions.

The NX100 offers up to 100 user passwords available in several levels including: user, editor, maintenance, and supervisor. The password restricts and logs the changes made to production programs.

The programming pendant features a color touch-screen display that can be configured as a custom HMI with buttons and status indicators.

Dual-channel safety features include enhanced E-Stop functionality, integrated speed monitoring, manual brake release switch, and compliance with both ANSI/RIA R15.06-1999 and Canadian safety standards.

The NX100 offers unmatched connectivity through standard EthernetSeptember 2, 2008 7:49 AMerNet /IP.
