MotoAdminMotoAdmin

  • MotoAdmin is a software package designed to allow a user to connect a PC to a robot controller and view and manipulate robot data. 
  • Using MotoAdmin, the user can upload/download/view jobs, variables and I/O. Jobs can be started and stopped, and robot modes can be monitored. Programmed jobs can be changed only with the supervisory password. Alarm history can also be downloaded and viewed.

MotoFTPMotoFTP

  • MotoFTP™ is a PC-based software package that allows users to upload and download robot files to and from the robot controller.
  • Allows a user to compare files on the robot via FTP (File Transfer Protocol).

MotoHMIMotoHMI

  • Provides an advanced PC-based Human Machine Interface (HMI) package for robotic systems.
  • It is packaged into either a pedestal- or fence-mount configuration.
  • Includes an industrial PC with a 15-inch TFT LCD color touch screen display, an uninterruptible power supply (UPS), a Cycle Start button, an E-Stop button, and an industrial mouse.
  • An RSView run time software package is included with 15, 30 or 75 display screens.
  • Extra conductors are provided with the robot controller pigtail for easy customization.

VDE Ethernet

  • Allows a PC and one or more XRC controllers to be networked via an Ethernet TCP/IP LAN.
  • Enables uploading/downloading of XRC files to/from a PC linked to the robot controller via a network link.

 

 

VDE Serial

  • Allows connection of a PC to the XRC controller via a standard RS-232C serial communications port.

 

 

 

Floppy Disk Emulator (FDE)

  • Allows programs to be uploaded, downloaded or deleted from an IBM-compatible computer via RS232 serial communications.
  • Allows users to download programs from the controller to a PC while the robot is running, or upload/download from the controller to a PC while the robot is in teach mode.

 

 

Visual DCI with OLE

  • Used to transfer programs and robot variables between the PC and the robot controller.
  • Allows users to modify robot variables "on-the-fly" and control Visual DCI from their own custom software applications.
  • Using Visual DCI a program structure can be written to communicate with a PC and implement a backup, a job change, an automated job selection, etc.
  • Provides advanced communication interface between a PC and MR, XRC or NX100 robot controllers.

File Management System

  • This robot file revision control tool tracks user changes to robot files.
  • Includes user authentication and different levels of user permission.
  • Changes to robot jobs are stored in a revision-controlled database so that the working job can be reverted to any intermediate version.

  • MotoCom SDK is a robot communication software development kit.
  • SDK provides the capability to create custom applications that communicate with Motoman robots.
