Terms of Use Motoman welcomes you to our robotic workcell selection application. This application will use information including your part length, width, and payload to select a range of our standard workcells which will suite your application. You can also enter part information such as total number of welds, weld size, and length of weld to get a cycle time estimate to weld your part. This estimated cycle time is then factored into some productivity features of our workcells such as positioner indexing times and use of multiple robots in the workcell to determine the production rate for each cell. You will have an opportunity to enter your required production volumes to indicate which workcell will suite your application or if you will need multiple workcells. Once the configurator tool has made recommendations based on your input, it will allow you to contact your Motoman Regional Sales Manager for in-depth product information and available options. NOTE - Cycle time estimates are for reference only. This cycle time estimate is based on gross number of welds, weld length, and travel speed. Surface condition, joint access, part fit-up, and other factors beyond Motoman Inc's control can affect cycle time. Nozzle cleaning, touch sensing, seam tracking, and wire cutting are not included in this estimate. Operator Load/Unload time is also not included, and assumed to be performed within the welding time. Customer is responsible for determining if the operator can load and unload component parts within the robot cycle time for greatest efficiency.
