ArcWorld II-200

The ArcWorld II-200 provides an affordable, wire-to-weld solution for small- to medium-size parts produced at medium to high volumes. It is particularly useful for smaller parts or smaller production runs where simplified tooling can be quickly changed. Dual independent work stations eliminate positioner indexing time between cycles. Simple, rugged, electrically driven door design easily achieves six part cycles (door open/closed) per minute.

The ArcWorld II-200 features a super-speed SSA2000 “Expert Arc” welding robot, NX100 controller with menu-driven arc welding application software, integrated welding package, and two stationary workstations. Its total safety environment complies with ANSI/RIA R15.06-1999 and Canadian safety standards.

Top 3 Reasons to Buy!

  • High robot utilization; no positioner index time.
  • Workstations can be tooled for different parts or can be used for sequential operations.
  • Easy to set up and program.

Highlights

Easy Setup

  • All equipment is designed to be lagged to the floor. Jigs are provided to align the robot to work tables. Minimal assembly is required to erect the three sides of the fence and lag equipment.
  • When purchased with the optional common base, the AWII-200 ships preassembled on a common platform. The controller and power source are mounted on a second, smaller base. Installation is simple and quick, typically requiring less than two hours.
  • Centrally located operator stations (cycle start and E-Stop for each station).
  • All door controls are located under guards in the front, providing easy access for maintenance from outside the cell.
  • Most programming can be done with the teacher outside the work cell.

SSA High-Speed Robots

  • SSA2000 “Super Speed” robot features a 3 kg payload, 1,390 mm reach and ±0.08 mm repeatability.
  • World’s fastest arc welding robots can reduce cycle time by 15 percent, greatly enhancing productivity.
  • Motion speed of the robot axes is up to 40 percent faster due to cutting-edge motor control technology.
  • Unique, integrated torch cable design of the SSA-series robots eliminates cable interference. This makes programming easier and reduces wear and associated cable maintenance downtime.
  • SSA-series robots are backed by the industry’s only two-year torch cable warranty.

NX100 Controller

  • Windows® CE programming pendant with color touch screen, fast processing, easy-to-use INFORM III programming language and robust PC architecture.
  • Unmatched memory (60,000 steps, 10,000 instructions), multi-level password protection and an Ethernet port.
  • Safety features – enhanced dual-channel E-Stop functionality, integrated speed monitoring, manual brake release for the robot, and compliance with both U.S. and Canadian safety standards.

Part Positioners: Two MDGT-2000 Stationary Tables

  • Each stationary workstation accommodates a work area of 600 mm x 1,300 mm (23.6" x 51.2") with a door opening of 1,200 mm (47"). Load height is 834 mm (32.8"). Tooling plates are optional. Dowel pins can be used for changeover between multiple parts/fixtures.
  • The cycle time of the door is approximately six parts (open/close cycles) per minute. Door travel time is approximately 2 seconds up and 2 seconds down.
  • Door operation is smooth electric drive. Fusing limits the force of door operations to safe guard personnel.
