Highlights
Easy Setup
- All equipment is designed to be lagged to the floor. As an option, the equipment can
be shipped pre-assembled on
a common base to reduce
setup time.
- Twist-lock connectors are included on all interconnecting cables.
- Fits conveniently in a 100" high trailer.
- Compact workcell footprint.
SSA High-Speed Robots
- World’s fastest SSA2000 arc welding robots can reduce cycle time by 15 percent, greatly enhancing productivity.
- SSA2000 features a 3 kg payload, 1,390 mm reach and ±0.08 mm repeatability.
- Unique, integrated torch cable design of the SSA-series robots eliminates cable interference. This makes programming easier
and reduces wear and associated
cable maintenance downtime.
- SSA-series robots are backed by the industry’s only two-year torch cable warranty.
NX100 Controller
- Programming pendant with color touch screen, fast processing, easy-to-use INFORM III programming language and robust PC architecture.
- Safety features – enhanced dual-channel E-Stop functionality, integrated speed monitoring, single point of control, manual brake release for the robot, and compliance with both U.S. and Canadian safety standards.
Part Positioning
- The AWII-50 models include a single welding station with fixed tooling (AWII-50) or a servo-driven MH-150 headstock (AWII-50S). Robot operation is interlocked with the doors to safeguard the operator during part load/unload.
- The dual-station AWII-52 models are available with fixed tooling (AWII-52) or with two MH-150 headstocks (AWII-52S) for coordinated part positioning. Operators can service one station while the robot welds at the adjacent station.
- Tooling risers are provided for the fixed-station workcells. Dowel pins can be used for changeover between multiple parts/fixtures. A single large tabletop (AWII-50) or two smaller tabletops (AWII-52) are available as options.
- The MH-150 can support a 150-kg payload overhung 200 mm from the faceplate. Due to the high capacity of the MH-150, tailstocks are not needed in this compact cell. Coordinated motion is standard, allowing the robot to make circumferential welds in a single pass.
Total Safety Environment
- Complete barrier guarding.
- Dual-channel, safety-rated, tamper resistant interlocks.
- Sliding interlocked doors on each side provide easy access for programming.
- Overhead cable routing for improved life and minimized trip hazard.
- Interlocked bi-fold doors are
latched during robot operation.
- Bi-fold doors use industrial components for smooth,
long-life operation.
- Fence-mounted latching cycle start and E-Stop buttons.
