The ArcWorld III-1000 is a fully integrated, pre-engineered robotic arc welding solution with a high-speed, servo-controlled indexing turntable (2 sec. index). These single robot (AWIII-1000) or dual robot (AWIII-1200) workcells are designed to meet high-volume production for small- to medium-size parts that can be welded from a single side. The servo-controlled positioner can be configured to provide higher payload (1,000 kg) or support a larger diameter (1,829 mm/72") table top.

The AWIII-1000 series features the high-speed SSA2000 arc welding robot; NX100 controller; integrated welding package; MSR-500 servo-controlled indexing rotary part positioner; operator station; and total safety environment – all the automation required for robotic arc welding.

Part Positioner: MSR-500

  • 500-kg payload, high-speed, servo-driven two-position rotary turntable.
  • Less than 2.0-second sweep time (fully loaded) Robot idle time is minimal and part throughput is increased.
  • Table top has a center through-hole for utilities and a low-inertia H-style framework.
  • 1,524 mm (60") turning diameter; divided by a protective arc screen that allows the operator to safely load and unload parts from one location outside the robot work envelope while the robot welds inside the cell.
  • Designed to accommodate single or multiple fixture part runs. Fixtures are easily located on the table using dowel pins. Fixture plates are available as an option.
