Description Classroom lectures on maintenance procedures are reinforced with demonstrations. Material covered is enhanced with actual hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting performed by students in Motoman's 8,500-sq.ft. training facility. Students perform lab exercises which reinforce topics covered in class lectures. Class size is kept small, typically 12 or fewer, to provide the high level of hands-on learning required. Students work closely with Motoman instructors to grasp the concepts of robot/controller maintenance.
Topics Students learn to perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on the MRC controller and K- and SK-series robots.

Overview The MRC K- and SK-Series Maintenance Module is a preventive maintenance/troubleshooting course for the MRC controller and K- and SK-series industrial robots. Individuals responsible for maintenance/repair, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and diagnosis should attend this class. This class is for students who have attended MRC Basic Programming; confirmation of course completion will be required. STUDENTS MUST HAVE PREVIOUSLY COMPLETED THE STANDARD MRC MAINTENANCE PROGRAMMING COURSE.
Materials Students receive the latest revision of the MRC K/SK-Series Maintenance Manual which details installation, maintenance, electrical diagrams, spare parts, etc. Additional handouts relate to specific topics covered in the class. Students are urged to take notes, participate in discussions, and to bring up specific maintenance issues
Length This module is a 2.5-day training class. On-Site classes are demand based and should be scheduled 60-90 days in advance to ensure availability.

Notes Price is for up to 6 students using customer provided robot systems. Plus travel expenses. No more than 3 students per programming pendant. For pricing for more than 6 students, contact the MOTOMAN Manager at 937.847.3229 This refresher course will move at a much faster pace than the matching standard course. Since students have previously completed the course, the focus is more on refreshing student's memories on topics once learned, but possibly since forgotten. Lecture time will be minimal with focus being on additional hands-on. All refresher courses are non-CEU.
