Description MRC Concurrent I/O Ladder Programming class is a course in programming the USER PART of the Concurrent I/O ladder. The course allows the user to customize the operation of MRC Input/Output functions. Individuals responsible for advanced programming and/or maintenance should attend. The MRC Basic Programming Module is a prerequisite to the MRC Concurrent I/O module. MRC Advanced Programming and/or MRC Maintenance is highly recommended.
Topics Students learn to customize operations of the MRC controller. Primary topics include:
  • Overview of I/O job instructions
  • I/O connections
  • Concurrent I/O system types
  • Ladder logic
  • Concurrent I/O program instructions
  • User messages
  • User alarms
  • Cubic interference zones

Materials Students receive a copy of the MRC Concurrent I/O Training Manual. Additional handouts and reference materials relate to specific topics covered in the class. Students are urged to take notes, participate in discussions, and bring up specific application issues.
Length This module is a 2.5-day training class. On-Site classes are demand based and should be scheduled 60-90 days in advance to ensure availability.
