Description The MRC Intermediate Programming Module is an accelerated learning course covering standard basic and advanced programming functions and instructions. MRC Basic Programming or ERC Basic Programming are the normal prerequisites to this course. At a minimum, students should possess all the skills normally attained in an MRC Basic Programming class.
Topics Primary topics include:
  • Robot safety
  • Basic and advanced I/O
  • Basic and advanced variable use
  • Basic & advanced arithmetic instructions
  • Standard shifting functions
  • Programming and editing w/ INFORM II
  • Basic & advanced use of position variables
  • SC parameter functions
  • Using system variables
Overview The MRC Intermediate Programming Module is an accelerated learning course covering standard basic and advanced programming functions and instructions.
Materials Students receive the MRC Intermediate Programming Manual and miscellaneous handouts that relate to specific topics covered in the class. Students are urged to take notes, participate in discussions, and to bring up specific programming issues.
Length This module is a 4.5-day training class. On-Site classes are demand based and should be scheduled 60-90 days in advance to ensure availability.

Notes OPEN ENROLLMENT classes have the prerequisite waived. Any student can attend who feels qualified. Class will proceed at the normal pace and cover the standard materials. Price is for up to 6 students using customer provided robot systems. Plus travel expenses. No more than 3 students per programming pendant.
