Description The XRC Ladder Programming module is a course in programming the USER PART of the XRC Concurrent I/O ladder. Users learn to customize the operation of XRC Input/Output functions. Individuals responsible for advanced programming and/or maintenance should attend. The XRC Basic Programming Module is a prerequisite, and XRC Advanced Programming and/or XRC Maintenance is highly recommended.
Topics Students learn to customize operations of the XRC controller.

  • Purpose and functionality of Concurrent I/O
  • Input/Output devices
  • Robot program I/O instructions
  • Overview of XRC I/O hardware
  • Ladder programming instructions
  • Registering I/O names
  • Registering USER alarms and messages
  • Ladder logical relay addressing
  • Defining interference zones
  • I/O controlling parameters

    Materials Students receive a copy of the XRC Ladder Programming Training Manual. Additional handouts and reference materials relate to specific topics covered in this class. Students are urged to take notes, participate in discussions, and bring up specific application issues.
    Length This module is a 3.5-day training class. On-Site classes are demand based and should be scheduled 60-90 days in advance to ensure availability.

    Notes Price is for up to 6 students using customer provided robot systems. Plus travel expenses. No more than 3 students per programming pendant. For pricing for more than 6 students, contact the MOTOMAN Manager at 937.847.3229 NOTE: Can also be taught using VRC (Virtual Robot Controller). Additional expenses will be applied for S/H/I of the training modules.
