|Description||Classroom lectures on programming commands are reinforced with demonstrations. Commands and topics are related to real-world examples and applications. Material covered in the lectures is enhanced with actual hands-on programming by students in Motoman's 8,500-sq.ft. training facility. Students work in teams to perform workshop exercises which emphasize commands covered in class lectures. Class size is kept small, typically 12 or fewer, to promote an interactive, hands-on learning atmosphere. This allows students to work with each other and Motoman instructors to grasp the concepts of robot programming.|
|Topics||Students learn to manipulate the robot, create new robot programs, modify existing programs, and apply application-specific commands.

|Overview||The MRC Basic Programming Module is an introductory course to the MRC controller and programming of the Motoman K-series and SK- series industrial robots. STUDENTS MUST HAVE PREVIOUSLY COMPLETED THE STANDARD MRC BASIC PROGRAMMING COURSE.|
|Materials||Students receive a copy of the latest revision of the MRC Basic Training Manual, which details commands and program- ming techniques for the Motoman MRC controller. Additional handouts relate to specific topics covered in the class. Students are urged to take notes, participate in discussions, and to bring up specific programming issues.|
|Length||This module is a 2.5-day training class. On-Site classes are demand based and should be scheduled 60-90 days in advance to ensure availability.|

|Notes||Price is for up to 6 students using customer provided robot systems. Plus travel expenses. No more than 3 students per programming pendant. For pricing for more than 6 students, contact the MOTOMAN Manager at 937.847.3229 This refresher course will move at a much faster pace than the matching standard course. Since students have previously completed the course, the focus is more on refreshing student's memories on topics once learned, but possibly since forgotten. Lecture time will be minimal with focus being on additional hands-on. All refresher courses are non-CEU.|
