| Description | Classroom lectures on maintenance procedures are reinforced with demonstrations. Material covered in the lectures is enhanced with actual hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting by students. Students perform lab exercises which emphasize topics covered in class lectures. Class size is kept small, typically 12 or fewer, to provide the high level on hands-on learning required for this course. This allows students to work closely with Motoman instructors to grasp the concepts of robot/ controller maintenance. |

| Overview | The XRC PX-Series Maintenance Module is a preventive maintenance/troubleshooting course for the XRC controller and the PX-series industrial paint robots. Individuals responsible for maintenance/repair, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and diagnosis should attend this class. |
| Materials | Students receive a copy of the XRC PX-Series Maintenance Manual which details installation, maintenance, electrical diagrams, spare parts, etc. for the PX-series robot model. Additional handouts relate to specific topics covered in the class. Students are urged to take notes, participate in discussions, and to bring up specific programming issues. |
| Length | This module is a 4.5-day training class. On-Site classes are demand based and should be scheduled 60-90 days in advance to ensure availability. |
