| Description | This course consists of classroom lectures, demonstrations, discussions and hands-on practice exercises. These practice exercises include actual “live arc” welding exercises, which are based on the GMAW process. A constant voltage power source and mild steel wire are used. Covered topics are related to real-world examples and applications. |

| Overview | The NX100 Com-Arc III Programming Module is an advanced course for the NX100 controller. Com-Arc Seam Tracking and Touch Sensing are the focus of this module. Students are required to possess basic programming knowledge of the NX100 controller and NX100 system welding prior to attending this training module. As a minimum, the student should have a basic understanding of the GMAW process. The NX100 Basic Programming with Arc Welding Module is a prerequisite to the NX100 Com-Arc III Programming Module. XRC Advanced Arc Welding is recommended. |
| Materials | Students receive a course outline, objectives, and a manual, which details welding commands, programming techniques, and specific topics covered in the class. Students are urged to take notes, participate in discussions, and inquire about specific operating issues. |
| Length | This module is a 2.0-day training class. On-Site classes are demand based and should be scheduled 60-90 days in advance to ensure availability. |
| Prerequisite | NX100 Basic Programming with Arc Welding and a basic understanding of the GMAW process. |
