Overview The DX100 Com-Arc III Programming Module is an advanced course for the DX100 controller. Com-Arc Seam Tracking and Touch Sensing are the focus of this module. Students are required to possess basic programming knowledge of the Dx100 controller and DX100 system welding prior to attending this training module. As a minimum, the student should have a basic understanding of the GMAW process. The DX100 Basic Programming with Arc Welding Module is a prerequisite to the DX100 Com-Arc III Programming Module. XRC Advanced Arc Welding is recommended.
Materials Students receive a course outline, objectives, and a manual, which details welding commands, programming techniques, and specific topics covered in the class. Students are urged to take notes, participate in discussions, and inquire about specific operating issues.
Length This module is a 2.0-day training class. On-Site classes are demand based and should be scheduled 60-90 days in advance to ensure availability.
