Motoman Technical Education Center offers over 75 different courses including Basic Programming, Advanced Programming, Maintenance, Concurrent I/O, Purchasable Options, and Customized Training. Motoman courses provide classroom instruction combined with hands-on training (normally 2-student-per-robot ratio). Class size is limited to provide a more effective and enhanced learning environment.

With three U.S. facilities and more than 90 training robots, Motoman offers the most complete training package in the industry. Since MTEC is an authorized provider for the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET), each student who receives at least 70% on the final exam and satisfies the contact hours of the respective class, will receive Continuing Education Units (CEUs). These CEU's records are widely used to provide evidence of completion of continuing education requirements mandated by certification bodies, professional societies, or governmental licensing boards. These CEUs are transferable college credits, which are awarded based on contact hours of the course. The Motoman Technical Education Center is the first robotic training facility with IACET accreditation and is also approved for training of veterans.

Training Locations

Motoman offers training at our headquarters in West Carrollton, Ohio and at our remote facilities in Irvine, California; Rochester Hills, Michigan; Mississauga, Canada; and Aguascalientes, Mexico. Motoman also performs On-Site training at customer sites if required but recommends training at Motoman since the environment is more conducive to effective learning.

Rescheduling and Cancellation Policies

Motoman training classes generally fill 60-90 days in advance, and some are scheduled only on an as-needed basis. Once these classes are scheduled, Motoman resources are then allocated to best meet the training needs of customers. As a result, Motoman must charge fees for rescheduling and/or cancellations as outlined below.

21 or more »	A fee will be charged equal to 5% of tuition paid. Fee is per seat for classes held at MTEC and per class for On-Site. The rescheduling of On-Site classes will also include charges for any costs already incurred or that will be incurred due to the rescheduling.	A $250 fee will be charged per seat for classes held at MTEC and per class for On-Site. The cancellation of On-Site classes will also include charges for any costs already incurred or that will be incurred due to the cancellation.
11-20 »	A fee will be charged equal to 15% of tuition paid. Fee is per seat for classes held at MTEC and per class for On-Site. The rescheduling of On-Site classes will also include charges for any costs already incurred or that will be incurred due to the rescheduling.	A $750 fee will be charged per seat for classes held at MTEC and per class for On-Site. The cancellation of On-Site classes will also include charges for any costs already incurred or that will be incurred due to the cancellation.
10 or fewer »	A fee will be charged equal to 25% of tuition paid. Fee is per seat for classes held at MTEC and per class for On-Site. The rescheduling of On-Site classes will also include charges for any costs already incurred or that will be incurred due to the rescheduling.	Full tuition paid will be forfeited. This fee also includes “no-shows.” The cancellation of On-Site classes will also include other charges for any costs already incurred or that will be incurred due to the cancellation.
