Collaborative Safety Through Power and Force Limiting (PFL) Capability

Sensors in Every Joint

Integrated force sensors continuously compare detected forces against predefined safety thresholds. When force levels exceed programmed limits, the system can take corrective action such as stopping motion or moving away from the detected contact.

Avoidance Function

The robot can safely respond to unexpected contact during operation. If touched, the robot can be gently pushed away, allowing interaction without damage or injury concerns. After a defined pause, the robot can automatically resume its programmed fastening sequence.

Advanced safety functions help meet or exceed the requirements of ISO/TS 15066 collaborative robotics guidelines, enabling safe recovery and restart procedures during operation.
