Automation & Control Services, Inc. designs and builds custom robotic cells, machine design & fabrication, and complex process skids for a variety of industries from food processing through steel manufacturing and pharmaceutical process controls.
Our onsite Panel Shop is one of a few in the Midwest that has the ability to list specializing in all industrial panels designations from standard UL508A control panels, UL697A – Intrinsic Safety Barrier Panels, and UL1203 Classified Environment (Class 1 and 2 Explosion Proof standards). We have been a Cognex Certified System Integrator for over 15 years and have a great amount of experience with a many different machine vision and barcode reading applications along with support for systems requiring database query and information management.
We are a Robotmaster certified dealer and can provide extremely complex, multi-axis robotic paths for a variety of specialty applications which can benefit from irregular and multi-curve paths including Cutting/Trimming, Painting, Welding, and Machining. We can provide this serve for systems designed and installed by us, but also as an add-on service to new or existing systems developed by others. This CNC-like path generation provides us the ability to quickly develop and edit Six Axis robot manipulators that otherwise would be cost prohibitive to implement with traditional teach pendant tools and helps us to avoid long, drawn out, onsite path development and training.
Our in-house fabrication and CNC machine shop is capable of quickly prototyping our tooling designs on our two Stratasys 3D printers and machining them out of a variety of materials from Engineered thermoplastics to Titanium. We have extensive experience working as a General contractor for large installations but also are able to work as part of a larger system development team. We work with all size companies from Fortune 100 to small local machine shops and manufacturing facilities and look forward to hearing from you for your application needs.
