Vernon L. Melton, a widely respected engineer and inventor, founded MMCC in 1970. Initially MMCC was involved in a variety of areas related to factory automation. However, MMCC quickly established a reputation for its unique equipment and expertise in automated arc welding. Since 1978 MMCC has devoted its resources almost entirely to building automated arc welding systems. Today MMCC is recognized as a premium quality equipment builder and a leader in the field of automated arc welding, having been integrating welding robots for more than 25 years.
MMCC has been 100% employee-owned since 1984 and attributes its success to the values instilled by its founder and to its dedicated employees. MMCC's customers benefit from a stable work force that provides exceptional client-focused service with sensitivity to the customer's success.
From its 154,000 square foot facility in Washington, Missouri, MMCC provides engineering, design, fabrication, setup and run off services for new and rebuilt machines, with quick-change fixtures and tooling.
