Robotic Arc Welding for those with no arc welding experience

Who Should Attend

This course is designed specifically for customers who have little or no previous experience in arc welding.  Students should already have completed a Basic Programming course for NX100/DX100/DX200 or YRC1000.

Course Overview

This 2.5 day course reviews welding theory, then shows students how to use ARCON and ARCOF commands, how to set up arc start and arc end files, weaving files and in-line commands.  At the completion of this course, students will be able to program and modify robotic welding jobs, setup and modify weld parameters and use both weaves and reference points.

Course Materials

Students will receive a copy of the INTRODUCTION TO ARC WELDING manual.


The seminar will cover the following topics: - review of weld theory - use of ARCON, ARCOF, WVON and WVOF commands - setup and adjustment of arc start files and arc end files
