Academy / Training / DX200 Com-Arc III Programming

This course consists of classroom lectures, demonstrations, discussions and hands-on practice exercises. These practice exercises include actual “live arc” welding exercises, which are based on the GMAW process. A constant voltage power source and mild steel wire are used. Covered topics are related to real-world examples and applications.

Course Overview

The DX200 Com-Arc III Programming Module is an advanced course for the DX200 controller. Com-Arc Seam Tracking and Touch Sensing are the focus of this module. Students are required to possess basic programming knowledge of the DX200 controller and DX200 system welding prior to attending this training module. As a minimum, the student should have a basic understanding of the GMAW process. The DX100 Basic Programming with Arc Welding Module is a prerequisite to the DX200 Com-Arc III Programming Module. XRC, NX100 or DX100 Advanced Arc Welding is recommended.
