HMC Products began operation in 1979 machining and supplying repair parts for horizontal form fill seal pouch machines to customers that required high quality parts quickly at low prices. To this day, HMC Products continues to fill their customers’ demand with used Bartelt ® and HMC parts needed for same or next day delivery. Our modern 60,000 square foot facility in Caledonia, IL houses 20 CNC machining centers with automatic tool changers, as well as many manual mills, lathes, planer mills, and a paint booth. To improve delivery times, we recently added a fabrication department which manufactures machine frames and thin gauge stainless steel parts, and includes an Amada CNC Laser.
We expanded in 1983 providing new HMC Pouchmasters and rebuilt Bartelt ® pouch machines to customers worldwide. Integration of various types of product fillers including auger, net weigh, scoop, volumetric, and downstream equipment such as cartoners and casepackers is also performed by experienced and qualified HMC staff.
Control options on our equipment include PLC and touchscreen, PAC (programmable automation controller) with full servo motion control, or complete PC control. Control experience includes platforms such as Allen Bradley, Emerson, B&R, GE Fanuc, Siemens, Modicon, Square D, Telemecanique, Bosch Rexroth, and others. Various pouch machine models including standup zipper pouch machines are always in various stages of completion for short lead times.
