Robotic Spot Welding for those with limited spot welding experience

Who Should Attend

This course is designed specifically for customers who have little or no previous experience in spot welding.  Students should already have completed a Basic Programming course for DX100/DX200/YRC1000.

Course Overview

This 2.5 day course reviews spot welding theory, then shows students how to use SVGUNCL and SVSPOT commands, how to set up clearance teaching, tip wear compensation and use of spot welding hot keys.  At the completion of this course, students will be able to program and modify robotic spot welding jobs, setup and modify weld parameters.

Course Materials

Students will receive a copy of the INTRODUCTION TO SPOT WELDING manual.

Topics

The seminar will cover the following topics: - review of spot weld theory - use of device commands for spot welding (SVGUNCL, SVSPOT) - clearance teaching - tip wear compensation
