Academy / Robotics Training In-Person / United States / DX100 Coordinated Motion and Multiple Robot Control Programming

The DX100 Coordinated and Multiple Robot Control Group Programming Module is an advanced course pertaining to ArcWorld systems such as 6200/6300/6400 cells. Students are required to possess basic programming knowledge of the DX100 controller prior to attending this module.

Motoman instructors cover topics which enable students to use the advanced functions of the DX100-controlled ArcWorld 6200/6300/6400 dual/triple/quad robot cell.

Course Overview

Classroom lectures on programming commands are reinforced with demonstrations. Commands and topics are related to real-world examples and applications. Material covered in lectures is enhanced with actual hands-on programming by students in Motoman's 13,400-sq. ft. training facility. Students perform workshop exercises which emphasize commands covered in class lectures. Class size is kept small, typically six or fewer, to promote an interactive, hands-on learning atmosphere. This allows students to work closely with Motoman instructors to grasp the concepts of coordinated motion and multiple control group programming.

Course Materials

Students receive manuals and handouts that relate to specific topics covered in class. Students are urged to take notes, participate in discussions, and to bring up specific programming issues.

Prerequisite

The DX100 Basic Programming with Arc Welding Module is a prerequisite to this module.
