Academy / Robotics Training In-Person / United States / NX100 Maintenance without Programming Overview

The NX100 HP/EA-Series Maintenance Module is a preventive maintenance/troubleshooting course for the NX100 controller and the HP/ES/EA-series industrial robots. Individuals responsible for regular and preventative maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting should attend this class.

Course Overview

Classroom lectures on maintenance procedures are reinforced with demonstrations. Commands and topics are related to real-world examples and applications. Material covered in the lectures is enhanced with actual hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting performed by students in Motoman's 13,400-sq.ft. training facility. Students perform lab exercises which reinforce topics covered in the class lectures. Class size is kept small, typically 6 or fewer, to promote an interactive, high level of hands-on learning required.

Course Materials

Students receive a copy of the NX100 Series Maintenance Manual which details installation, maintenance, electrical diagrams, spare parts, etc. for the HP/ES/EA-series robot models. Additional handouts relate to specific topics covered in the class. Students are urged to take notes, participate in discussions, and to bring up specific programming issues.

In order to attend the 3.5 day NX Maintenance class, attendees must have attended the NX Basic Programming class. Otherwise, attendees must attend the 4.5 day NX Maintenance w/ Programming Overview.
