Yaskawa Motoman demonstrated exciting new robotic technology at IMTS 2018. Here is a recap and some additional details on the new products featured:
Yaskawa Cockpit™ is a systems management and control platform that monitors and analyzes devices throughout your facility. Data is collected from all devices, analyzed and then graphically displayed showing real-time device status.
Alerts and alarms are also automatically forwarded to the appropriate people to ensure timely attention and resolution.
Increase productivity with the compact and efficient MotoMini:
Featuring a tablet-style interface, Smart Pendant offers a fast, simple learning curve and is ideal for novice robot programmers. The patented, built-in Smart Frame technology allows the robot to adapt to the position of the programmer, eliminating the use of conventional coordinate (X, Y, Z) frames and resulting in easy robot jogging.
Highly efficient, Yaskawa Motoman’s GP-series robot line now features 14 versatile models to boost application productivity.
These 6-axis robots are designed for fast-paced assembly, packaging and general handling processes. Payloads range from 7-600 kg.
Designed for exceptional spot welding performance, the new SP-series robots offer fast axis speeds and acceleration to reduce air-cut time and increase production output.
A single cable is all that is needed to connect the manipulator to the controller, making installation quick and efficient. Five models are available with payloads from 80-210 kg.
