This workcell features all of the pre-engineered safety and efficiency of our ArcWorlds, but includes a few cost-saving elements to ensure a quick payback in our lowest price cell.

Features

Workcell Design

  • Flexible single or dual workstation arc welding workcell.

  • Protective fencing with interlocked door mates up perfectly with the robot and workstation base for installation directly to the floor.

  • The robot controller, welding equipment and power disconnect are mounted as an assembly to simplify installation.

  • Manual swinging (single station) or sliding (dual station) doors provide safe access to workstations.

Equipment Included

  • Motoman® AR1440 arc welding robot welds parts with efficiency and consistent high quality.

  • Choice of Miller® Auto-Continuum 350 or Lincoln Electric Power Wave® R450 robotic power supply.

  • Welding processes are accessed by Yaskawa's Universal Weldcom Interface directly from the robot programming pendant.

  • Enhanced safeguarding, including Functional Safety Unit (FSU) is fully compliant with latest robot safety standard (ANSI/RIA R15.06-2012).

Workpiece Capacity

  • The single workstation is ideal for wider parts up to 1829 mm and is available with a fixed tooling table or a servo-driven MH185 headstock for parts up to 1450 mm that need to be repositioned during processing.

  • The dual workstation configuration with fixed tooling tables for up to 893 mm part width or with two MH185 headstocks for parts up to 500 mm that need repositioned.

  • Tooling can be quickly changed. Each workstation can be tooled for different parts or be used for sequential operations.
