Academy / Robotics Training In-Person / United States / DX100 Maintenance without Programming Overview

The DX100 MH/MA/VA-Series Maintenance Module is a preventive maintenance/troubleshooting course for the DX100 controller and the MH/MA/VA-series industrial robots. Individuals responsible for regular and preventative maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting should attend this class. This course was designed for individuals that have previously attended the DX100 Basic Programming class.

Course Overview

Classroom lectures on maintenance procedures are reinforced with demonstrations. Programming instructions and topics are related to real-world examples and applications. Material covered in the lectures are enhanced with actual hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting performed by students in Motoman's 13,400-sq.ft. training facility. Students perform lab exercises which reinforce topics covered in the class lectures. Class size is kept small, typically 12 or fewer, to promote an interactive, high level of hands-on learning required.

Course Materials

Students receive a copy of the DX100 -Series Maintenance Manual which details installation, maintenance, electrical diagrams, spare parts, etc. for the MH/MA/VA-series robot models. Additional handouts relate to specific topics covered in the class. Students are urged to take notes, participate in discussions, and to bring up specific maintenance issues.
