DX100 Accelerated Programming
Intensive course - Accelerated pace
Who Should Attend
The DX100 Accelerated Programming Course is an accelerated learning course covering standard basic and advanced programming functions and instructions. It may be beneficial to XRC and NX100 Advanced users as a transition over to the next generation controller. NOTE: This is an ACCELERATED course and is suitable ONLY for those students with previous YASKAWA MOTOMAN robot experience. Successful completion of the DX100 OPERATOR'S FINAL EXAM is a prerequisite to this course.
Classroom lectures on programming commands are reinforced with demonstrations. Commands and topics are related to real-world examples and applications. Material covered in the lectures is enhanced by actual hands-on programming by students in Yaskawa Academy Canada’s 2400 square foot training facility. Students work in teams to perform workshop exercises which emphasize commands covered in class lectures. Classes are kept small in size, typically 12 or fewer students, in order to promote an interactive, hands-on learning atmosphere. This allows the students to work with each other and Yaskawa Motoman instructors in order to grasp the concepts covered in class.
Students receive a copy of the DX100 Accelerated Programming Manual and miscellaneous handouts that relate to specific topics covered in the class. Students are urged to take notes, participate in discussions and to bring up specific programming issues.
Students learn to manipulate the robot, create new robot programs, modify existing programs, create backup data, and apply application-specific commands.
The DX100 Accelerated Programming course is a 4.5 day course. This course typically closes out 30 days in advance.
