Who Should Attend

The NX100/DX100/DX200 Concurrent Job and External Axes Programming Module is an advanced course pertaining to programming specifics of dual or triple robots with or without external axes. Students are required to possess basic programming knowledge of their controller and robots prior to attending this module. Basic Programming course is a prerequisite to this course.

Course Overview

Classroom lectures on programming commands are reinforced with demonstrations. Commands and topics are related to real-world examples and applications. Material covered in lectures is enhanced with actual hands-on programming by students in the Yaskawa Academy Canada 2400 square foot demonstration and training laboratory. Students perform workshop exercises which emphasize commands covered in class lectures.

Course Materials

Students receive a copy of the Concurrent job manual as well as handouts that relate to specific topics covered in class. Students are urged to take notes, participate in discussions, and to bring up specific programming issues.


Yaskawa Motoman instructors cover topics which enable students to use the advanced functions of dual or triple robot cells - concurrent job programming - task synchronization - independent control function - group axes selection - copying a job from one robot to another
